Udupi Grameena Buntara Sangha da Sabhabhavana Nirmana& Development Samithi (R) Charitable Trust

We are a non-profit NGO who have established a Skill Development Centre at Kunthal Nagar, Manipura village, Udupi District in rural Karnataka, India. The center was inaugurated by the honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri. Basavaraj Bommai on 13th October 2021. The main objective of this center is to promote skill development, entrepreneurship culture, women entrepreneurship, digital literacy, career development and facilitate employment opportunities for rural students, women and youth. The center conducts free-of-charge training and organizes job fairs for the benefit of rural people with financial support from donors and sponsors. The slogan of the charitable trust is “Rural Development through Entrepreneurship”

Major Achievements: 2021 - 2022

  • “Chai-pe-Charcha” program was conducted at our centre and was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Basavaraj Bommai and successful entrepreneurs and discussed about enabling the skill, entrepreneurship, career and employment opportunities for rural talent.
  • Over 1200 students, women & youth got trained under our skill development program.
  • 100 candidates received basic computer training, a certified course under our digital literacy program.
  • Successfully organized 2 days Job Fair on 8th and 9th of October 2022 for the benefit of rural talent. 24 companies participated and around 375 candidates were shortlisted.

    “Krishi Mela” for the benefit of farmers particularly mechanization in paddy cultivation, tools & equipment for land development, an improved method of agriculture practice, sustainable farming solution, promote vegetable cultivation with low water content, fertilizers used in organic farming, creation of awareness about organic farming, etc.

  • Job Fair – 2023
